InformationFirst Regulation 19 Local Plan Consultation (Feb to Mar 2025)

The Regulation 19 Local Plan Consultation, which ran from Thursday 13th February 2025 until 9am on Monday 31st March 2025, has now closed. All responses have been published and are now available to view

The consultation can still be viewed by visiting our dedicated platform on Commonplace.

The Regulation 19 Publication Draft of the East Devon Local Plan 2020-2042, alongside an Evidence Library and Key Diagram are all still available to view.

Please be informed that we have identified an error in the plan text, and the table on page 234 related to policy PB08 should appear as follows:

Trunk diameter of tree lost to development (cm measured at 1.5 m) Number of replacement trees
7 - 19.9 1
20 - 29.9 2
30 - 39.9 3
40 - 49.9 4
50 - 59.9 5
60 - 69.9 6
70+ 7

The Local Plan Sustainability Appraisal report, and its Non-Technical Summary, were made available for consultation alongside the Local Plan.

A printer friendly / screen reader compatible version of the plan is also still available.

An online interactive Policies Map is available, which is the definitive Policies Map; to aid plan users we have, however, produced the following inset maps in PDF format that sit alongside and may assist with seeing key (but not all) policy boundary definitions:
