InformationVillage Design Statements adopted to date

There are 17 village design statements that have been adopted as supplementary planning guidance to the adopted East Devon Local Plan and will be taken into account in determining planning applications across the district. These are shown below and available to view. 

It should be noted that in some cases (see those marked with an asterix '*' below), a neighbourhood plan referring to the design statement and/or providing an updated design guidance or design code has since been made (adopted).  For more information, please go to information on made neighbourhood plans.

Other Design Statements, including for Clyst St George, are available as part of Neighbourhood Plans.  When made, neighbourhood plans sit alongside the adopted East Devon Local Plan as part of the statutory development plan for the area and are used to determine planning applications.
