Budleigh Salterton Neighbourhood Plan

Clyst St Mary and Sowton (Bishops Clyst) Neighbourhood Plan (First Review - 2023 to 2042)
The Clyst St Mary and Sowton (Bishops Clyst) Neighbourhood Plan for 2023 to 2042 was formally 'made' by Cabinet on 6 November 2025, superseding the previous neighbourhood plan for this neighbourhood area, made in March 2017. Colyton and Colyford Neighbourhood Plan
The 'Colyton Parish' Neighbourhood Plan was recommended to be 'made' by Cabinet on 5 January 2022 and the decision to make the Plan took effect from 10 January 2022. A minor modification to rename the plan to the 'Colyton and Colyford' Neighbourhood Plan was agreed on 13 June 2024 to reflect the creation of a separate administrative parish for Colyford within the Plan Area. Ottery St Mary and West Hill Neighbourhood Plan
The Ottery St Mary and West Hill Neighbourhood Plan was resolved to be 'made' by Cabinet on 11 July 2018. In December 2023, an application from West Hill Parish Council was approved which had the effect of separating the joint Ottery St Mary and West Hill Neighbourhood Area into 2 neighbourhood areas, one for each of the constituent parishes. The joint neighbourhood plan will continue to be used in the determination of applications until such time as it is replaced with a new plan(s).
