InformationSecond Regulation 19 Local Plan Consultation (Nov 2025 to Jan 2026)

The second Reg 19 Local Plan Consultation ran from Friday 28th November 2025 until Monday 26th January 2026.

The consultation was hosted on our dedicated platform, Commonplace and a Statement of Representations Procedure was published.

A 'tracked changes' version of the second Reg 19 Publication Draft (highlighting differences from the first Reg 19 version) of the East Devon Local Plan 2020-2042, alongside an updated Evidence Library, was made available to view as part of this consultation.

The Local Plan Sustainability Appraisal report, and its Non-Technical Summary, was also available as part of the consultation alongside the Local Plan.

Finally, an updated online interactive Policies Map was published, which is the definitive version of the map.

n.b. A 'clean' (i.e. without tracked changes) version of the second Reg 19 Publication Draft of the new Local Plan is available here

Additional wording to be incorporated into Strategic Policy SD29 in respect of site Whim_08a, resolved at the Strategic Planning Committee meeting on September 2nd 2025, was unfortunately omitted when the Second Reg 19 version of the plan was initially published. This was corrected on December 11th 2025 and the wording in question is clearly highlighted in both the tracked changes and clean v2s of the plan.
