The aim of the consultation was to get your opinion on the new statutory 5-year management plan for East Devon National Landscape (formerly known as the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). The plan set out the broad aims and objectives of the East Devon National Landscape Partnership over the next 5 years.

Stage Two - East Devon National Landscape Management Plan Consultation Draft 2025-2030 Strategic Environment Assessment and Habitats Regulations Assessment
We invited you to share your views on the Environmental Report produced for the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) of the East Devon National Landscape Management Plan Consultation Draft 2025–2030 under Directive 2001/42/EC.
We also welcomed feedback on the screening assessment, known in England as the Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA), of the draft plan’s policies. A consultation summary report is now in progress and will be released in due course. This will have direct responses from East Devon District Council and East Devon National Landscape to respondent comments.
