8. Rubbish collections for businesses
Business Rates does not include the removal of business refuse.
Under Section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, all businesses have a duty of care to dispose of their waste through registered trade waste collection services and must be able to provide evidence of a waste contract.
