7. Rural rates relief
From 1 April 2017 you can get 100% rural rates relief if you occupy a property in one of East Devon's listed rural settlements and is:
- the only general store, food shop or post office with a rateable value of up to £8,500
- the only public house or petrol station with a rateable value of up to £12,500
How to apply
Please email businessrates@eastdevon.gov.uk and include your Business Rates account number, name and address and we will send you an application form to complete and return to us.
