6. What happens after you've applied

We will make sure your application is eligible and that we have all the information we need. We may contact you if we have any queries or need further information/evidence.

Applications for grants will be assessed by officers using a scoring matrix and will be passed to the Community Grants Panel for a final decision.

Decisions on applications for grants under £3,000 will be presented in a summary report to Members of the Community Grants Panel which will include the officer’s recommendation on the decision.

Applications for over £3,000 will initially be reviewed and scored by officers.

Applications will be submitted with an Officer’s recommendation to the Community Grant Panel for Members to decide.

Decisions on applications for grants under £3,000 will be presented in a summary report to Members. In consultation with Members of the Community Grants Panel, The Chair, as Portfolio Holder for Finance, will retain delegated authority to make decisions on applications for grants below £3,000.

We will contact you by email with the outcome of the decision.

Payments for successful applications will be made by BACS using the details you gave us in your form once your grant funding contract has been signed.
