InformationEDDC Tree, Hedge & Woodland Strategy Public Consultation

Treeconomics were recently appointed by East Devon District Council (EDDC) to prepare a district-wide Tree, Hedge & Woodland Strategy.

Residents were invited to answer a series of questions regarding trees, woodlands, and hedges in the district as part of the consultation process. These responses were reviewed and carefully considered to help inform and shape both the strategy and East Devon’s treescape.

Update 1.0 - Final draft strategy review stage

As part of the process, we invited feedback on trees, woodlands, and hedges in the district and carefully reviewed all consultation responses to help inform and shape the plan and East Devon’s treescape. Following this work, a final draft of the Strategy was created. We hosted a second consultation to gather thoughts on the created strategy.

The consultation period has now closed. Thank you to everyone who provided comments and suggestions to help ensure the strategy is as effective and comprehensive as possible. Your input is being carefully considered before the strategy is finalised.

We appreciate your engagement and will provide an update on the next steps in due course.
