EDDC Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan

Our vision is to become a carbon neutral council by 2040, working within a low carbon economy and lifestyle. This will be reflected in our travel, homes, businesses, visitor experiences and communities.

East Devon District Council's Climate Strategy and Action Plan sets out our commitment to tackling climate change. It outlines key actions for reducing carbon emissions, enhancing sustainability, and adapting to environmental challenges. This plan serves as our roadmap, guiding our efforts to create a low-carbon future for East Devon.

The EDDC Climate Change Strategy outlines our guiding principles for climate action, how we will address our key priorities and how we will measure our progress over the lifetime of the strategy. The strategy is currently under review and will be published later this year.
