Climate Change Funding and Grants

East Devon District Council offers a variety of funding opportunities to support climate change initiatives and sustainability projects, both directly through the council and in collaboration with external partners and organisations.

Our Carbon Action Fund is a grant scheme designed to help businesses and community organisations to decarbonise. The fund is now live and applications must be submitted by 4pm on the 10th November 2025 at the latest. For more information, visit: Carbon Action Fund - East Devon.

There are also external partners and other organisations that provide additional funding opportunities for climate change projects. Below are some external funding opportunities available:

• Explore the Find A Grant tool to browse and filter UK government funding opportunities. This service helps you identify suitable grants, check eligibility, and understand the application process.
• The HSBC Green SME Fund supports small and medium enterprises in reducing their carbon footprint and financing environmentally sustainable initiatives.
