We have a team of waste management officers that can visit your school, college or group. We offer educational talks in waste and recycling, including games and activities.

Educational visits
A new waste education programme is available free to all schools in East Devon – funded by Devon County Council and delivered by Resource Futures. Choose from a range of hands-on and curricular linked workshops based around reducing reusing and recycling, including composting. We also offer schools support with the audit process to help reduce waste and become more sustainable. The team at Devon Waste Education offer free trips to Devon’s Energy from Waste plants in Exeter and Plymouth, where children will learn about the process of disposing of our waste and how to avoid waste through a series of games and activities, as well as a site tour.
