December 2025: The Regulation 16 stage consultation on the proposed neighbourhood plan for the parish of Woodbury has now closed and the Plan is at examination.
November 2025: The revised Clyst St Mary and Sowton (Bishops Clyst) Neighbourhood Plan has now been made, following a successful referendum.
June 2025: The Government has announced that it is no longer able to offer the annual grant and technical support programme to communities for neighbourhood planning. The programme will not re-open but any pre-agreed technical support packages will be honoured for work to be delivered by end March 2026. Neighbourhood planning continues to be encouraged by both the Government and East Devon District Council.
