Following public consultation, the Licensing & Enforcement Committee agreed an increase to East Devon District Council's hackney carriage table of maximum fares in October 2025, and the current tariff can be found at the below link:

All East Devon Hackney Carriages must now have their meter re-calibrated to reflect the new fare increase.

Meter changes can be made using the services of the Meterman (Exeter 01392 464643) or Cabserve (Torquay 01803 607611) and please phone ahead to book an appointment.
