1. Reporting the issue
If you notice a problem in your estate, you can tell us by:

When you report something, please give us as much detail as you can. This helps us understand the problem and decide what to do.
Here’s what we need to know:

- When?it happened
- Who?was involved
- What?they did
- How?it affected you
Once we have the information, we’ll talk with you about what we can do, when it will happen, and how we’ll keep you updated.
2. What our estate management team can help with
Our estate management team looks after lots of things to help keep your area safe, tidy, and friendly. Here are some of the problems we deal with:
- Making sure tenants follow the rules of their tenancy
- Talking to people about rubbish and messy gardens
- Removing graffiti
- Helping sort out problems between neighbours
- Tackling anti-social behaviour
- Looking into empty or damaged homes
- Dealing with fly-tipping (illegal dumping of rubbish)
- Monitoring shared areas to make sure they are kept clean
- Helping with general welfare concerns
3. Some issues the StreetScene team helps with instead
The shared outdoor areas in our housing estates are looked after by our team called?Streetscene.
- In?spring and summer, the grass is usually cut every?three weeks, depending on the weather.
- We don’t collect the grass cuttings, but our gardeners use machines to blow them off roads and paths.
- Streetscene also looks after?flower beds and hedges.
- We only cut hedges between?October and March?to protect birds during their nesting season.
- In?autumn and winter, we remove trees that have fallen or been damaged by storms.
Sometimes people ask us to trim trees or clean up fallen fruit, nuts, or leaves.?This isn’t a service we currently offer.
