Making changes to your home

If you want to make changes to your home, you may need to get?written permission from us?first.

Please email permission@eastdevon.gov.uk? and give as much detail as you can about the work you want to do. We’ll reply to let you know if we give permission. If we say no, we’ll explain why.

You might also need?planning permission?or?building regulations approval?before you start.

Important: Don’t make changes without permission

If you make changes without asking us first, you might be?breaking the rules of your lease. Also, those changes?won’t be covered by our building insurance.
