My rent and service charges
Most leaseholders pay?£10 ground rent each year, usually on?1 April.
You may also have to pay a?service charge?every year. This depends on where you live and what services you get. We’ll send you a bill and a list showing what you’re paying for.
Service charges may include:
- Safety checks for shared gas and electric systems
- Repairs to the building
- Cleaning shared areas and looking after shared gardens
- Electricity for shared areas, lifts, and entry systems
- Gas for shared boilers
- Building insurance
- Admin costs for managing leasehold homes
There might be other charges too.
