I have a little time to get involved

You don’t need to give up lots of time to make a difference. Some activities only take?20 minutes to an hour, and you can join in whenever opportunities come up during the year. 

By taking part, you can help improve your area and support other residents.

Ways you can join on: 

Residents' Associations 

Groups of neighbours who meet to talk about how to improve their street or block. They work together on issues like parking or anti-social behaviour and often organise fun community events. Find out more here.

Recruitment and Selection Panel 

Help us choose new staff for the Housing Service. Staff and residents on the interview panels are considered equal and receive special training.  

Editorial Group 

Help create the?Housing Matters?magazine, which comes out every 6 weeks. You’ll help choose topics and write content. You can also help with other resident newsletters and updates. 

Mystery Shopper 

Try out our services and tell us what the experience was like. This helps us understand what’s working and what needs to improve. 

Resident Connect Festival 

A fun day for all tenants! There’s food, entertainment, awards, and lots of chances to chat with staff and learn more about housing services in a relaxed setting. Find out more here.
