Please provide as much information as possible - anything you tell our counter fraud team is treated in the strictest confidence.

Any suspicion of wrongdoing, error, fraud, bribery or corruption will be treated seriously and will be reviewed with due regard to the law.

Suspected fraud, bribery or corruption will be investigated in an independent, open-minded, fair, transparent and professional manner with the aim of protecting the interests of both the Council and as appropriate any suspected individual(s).

We review every report of suspected fraud. Some reports will lead to an investigation, while others may not. Where fraud is identified, we will take appropriate action, which may include recovering money or taking legal action. For legal and confidentiality reasons, we are usually unable to provide updates on individual cases.
