Report pests on land
Report pests on land that you do not own or occupy (if the pests are on your own land you will need to pay for a pest control treatment which includes a survey. Should no treatment be necessary you will be refunded less the survey fee of £25.50).
Reports can be investigated further if you have seen multiple rats during the daytime, there have been multiple sightings over several weeks, there is an obvious food source such as food waste or harbourage areas. The Council is not able to investigate sightings of single rats in a general area

- The details of the land with the pest problem, ideally what3words
- The type of pest
- How the pest problem is affecting you
- Photos of the pest problem if possible
We will normally contact you within 5 working days to explain how your complaint will be dealt with.
Our initial contact with you is likely to be a telephone call. We will endeavour to use your preferred contact method wherever possible.
