Report Waste on Land
The Council is able to investigate complaints of waste on land, such as;
- A large number of black bin bags in a domestic garden.
- Fly-tipped waste on private land (note, the landowner is responsible for the removal of any fly-tipped waste on their land)
- Large accumulations of waste that could be considered detrimental to the amenity of the neighbourhood.
The Council is not able to investigate complaints about;
- Overgrown gardens and/or
- Building materials stored in domestic gardens
These are considered a civil matter between neighbours and independent legal advice should be considered.
We do not accept anonymous complaints.
