Go paperless. Get your benefit letters online
Electronic notifications - also known as paperless notifications - is a way to receive your benefit letters online.
Sign in or register for the Council’s online services and once it has been activated, you will be able to select the electronic notification option where you can log in and view your letter.
Advantages of E-Notifications:
- quick, safe and secure
- free to sign-up
- you can view your letter as soon as it’s available – we will email you to let you know when it’s been issued
- it reduces the amount of paper that’s used, making it better for the environment
- you still have the option to download and print the letter if you want to
If you are a landlord, once you have set up your account ,you will be able to see letters and details of your monthly payment schedule.

To sign up you will need your benefits reference number which can be found on your benefits letter. It has 9 digits starting with 50.
A verification email will be sent to you once the account has been completed & that must be actioned to finish sign up.
