1. Consultation

The consultation was designed to understand how people experience and value nature in East Devon. It explored what matters most to residents and visitors, and how existing countryside services can continue to support people and wildlife in the future.

Feedback gathered through the consultation will help inform the Council’s approach to nature recovery, support its biodiversity duties, and contribute to wider work to protect and enhance East Devon’s natural environment.

The consultation has now closed. It ran until 5pm on 22 May, and all responses are being reviewed.

Three consultation summary reports have been developed to present the results. These have been split into three documents: East Devon Nature Recovery Plan, Access to Nature, and East Devon Habitats and Species.
